MEMBER TYPES
Member Types
1) Physician Members consist of medical doctors who have an interest in the advancement of personalized arthroplasty surgery and are entitled to all privileges of membership.
2) Associate Members are individuals who have an interest in the advancement of personalized arthroplasty surgery, such as engineers and regulators, who do not qualify under other categories of membership and shall have privileges and rights as may be prescribed by the Board of Directors unless specified elsewhere in these Bylaws .
3) Scientific Members are non-clinical basic science researchers or members of the academic community who have an interest in the advancement of personalized arthroplasty surgery and shall have privileges and rights as may be prescribed by the Board of Directors unless specified elsewhere in these Bylaws.
4) Allied Members are allied health care professionals who have an interest in the advancement of personalized arthroplasty surgery, such as physician assistants and registered nurses.
5) Member in Training Members include trainees such as residents and fellows who have an interest in the advancement of Personalized arthroplasty surgery and can supply proof of trainee status and shall have privileges and rights as may be prescribed by the Board of Directors unless specified elsewhere in these Bylaws.
Member Designations
1) Founding Member is a special member designation available to all classes of membership, except those holding the member in training classification, who joined and made a significant contribution to the founding of the association.
2) Charter Member is a special member designation available to all classes of membership, except those holding the member in training classification, who joined and made a significant contribution to the association in its first year of operation.
